Such a happy evening. We had a special pop up meal (thanks, Tim Maddams) and a really interesting tour of the vineyard and orchards. There's a shop selling local food, as well as the amazing Polgoon wine, which you can have at picnic tables outside. Everyone is really welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

We made a special trip here to buy some of their delicious cider and on arrival we were offered a taste of their award winning Bacchus wine (absolutely delicious), the rose and another white. We left heavily laden with a box of wine and cider, wild garlic pesto and scrummy juice for the kids and we're SO coming back as... More

despite living in Penzance this was our first visit. It was a beautiful sunny day and we walked from Penzance. First of all we had lunch - a plate of charcuterie and a plate of various cheeses both accompanied with fresh bread and salad and washed down with a delightful bottle of Rondo Pinot Noir. Eaten in the open air... More

I have been coming to this part of Cornwall since I was a little girl. Much has changed since then, but it still has so much to offer. The lovely simple cottage is a great base for exploring the area. Right on the A30, you can zoom off in any direction to a beautiful cove, walk or gallery. The house... More

Just popped in on our way back to our campsite as fancied some wine and deli bits. Owner was very generous with the samples and I found a lovely bottle of white but was also treated to a bottle of their fizz which I also got to try. Didn't get any food and feel like they could benefit from providing... More

Ideally situated on a main road between 2 roundabouts. We drove past Polgoon vineyard and orchard on a day out and decided to pop in on our way back. We were greeted by a friendly girl in the shop who gave us tasters of their wine and cider (both of which were very nice indeed). We had a quick walk... More

On our tour of Cornwall my wife asked if we could get some cider, I suggested we wait until Devon And just by chance we passed Polgoon, so we did a quick reset and popped in. We were greeted by the lovely 'batty' who was a ray of sunshine on a very wet day Having sampled (make sure you have... More

Had an amazing stay over New Years weekend at Ortega Cottage at Polgoon. It's such a lovely place to stay and Kim really does think of everything you could need or want. The tour of the orchard and vineyard with free tasting of the excellent wines and ciders was amazing...thanks Sarah ❤
