Dogs on the beach every day we were there after the dog ban came into force. There is little point in having a dog free beach and then allowing dogs on it.

This beach is quieter than the others, but has the best breakers, so it is fun to watch the surfers. The lovely Porthmeor Beach Cafe will keep you fed and watered. Lovely.

Highly recommend venturing to this beach, it has great swell and is often not as busy as St Ives' other beaches.

A beautiful calm and relaxing beach. Clean and tidy. We always enjoy walking along the rocks up to the cliffside.

Beautiful beach and oh so quiet and peaceful in March. We had beautiful weather on our visit on the 21st March. I can imagine it is loopy busy in summer!

We stayed in an apartment that was just a few yards from this beach, but due to the very cold weather we only ventured once. Compared to our own beach at blackpool, this is terrific. With its lovely clean sand and rugged sea, I would...More
