On a sunny hot day in July, beautiful Cornish blue sky and lovely white sand. Soaking up the sun it's hard to find anywhere better. If you fancy something a bit more energetic have a go at sea kayaking that will but of the calories from the ice cream. But always beware of the dreaded Cornish Sky Rats

As this beach is close to the station it is perfect to stop and take a break at. We spent a few hours one evening watching the sun go down with a couplw of drinks and another afternoon catching some rays. There are also toilets, the café and restaurants nearby making it perfect for families. We however would not spend... More

A nice wide beach out of the regular fray of St Ives. Yes, it can get busy but not as much as in town. A good retreat that is a short walk from town.

Excellent beach and very clean. There is a beach bar, takeaway food outlet and the usual deck chairs for rent. Toilets are clean, which is good considering the number of people who must use them.

The beaches of St Ives are of surpassing beauty. However please be careful of the herring gulls! Both my partner's and mine ice creams were not enjoyed by us!

We visited the beach while we were staying in nearby Truro. It was always our intention to visit St Ives and we weren't disappointed. Although I would advise arriving early to get a parking space. We struggled even when it was not the school holidays but when you do this place is a real delight. Families of all ages would... More

Lots of great beaches in St Ives but this is our favourite . Really lovely to walk to across the sands from the town harbour when the tide is out. Just be aware of the seagulls !!
