Great for younger children. Soft sand and calm water for paddling. Cafe is also good for snacks and gear.

This is a lovely little cove, nice sand, safe bathing, food and drinks facilities at the rear of the beach, clean toilets up the slope, changing huts, brilliant for families.

Steep hill or steps to get down to the beach but absolutely beautiful. Also had clean toilets and a beach bar/cafe for take away food. Perfect.

Carpark nearby but arrive early for a space. Good beach for young children as they cannot wander far.

This is a beautiful litte beach, no obtrusive commercialism, well used by locals. Lovely sand, ideal for children, but no lifeguard. Easily accessible from the town centre and its facilities. Superb little cafe overlooking the beach.

On our visit there was a "no dogs allowed" sign at the entrance to the beach.there is however a dog friendly beach a five minute walk away.
