Lovely walk along the cliff path from the cafe car park. Pretty windy once you are beyond the lighthouse, but we got very lucky and saw seals in the coves at the foot of the cliffs. Nice cafe too, very friendly staff.

Lovely dog walking beach in the winter and great for children during the summer. Dog walking after 7pm and before 8am - summer hours. Low tide is best. Long sandy beach with wonderful views.

A wonderful beach which has everything you need - rock pools, glorious sandy beaches, a lovely cafe, even wild seals if you walk up to the National Trust site. Fantastic place to visit - a firm favourite every year.

The beach cafe is friendly and warming with excellent staff and food. This would be a excellent place for a small wedding as they cater for that as well

This is a great beach to visit with masses of open space at low tide and travel a little around the northern corner and go and see the seals - fantastic!

This is a stunning beach protected by life guards and great for waves. We took a family holiday here and there was plenty of room for sports and sand castles without visitors being on top of each other. The Sunset surf and Gwithian Cafe's hidden...More

Worth going to look at the Seals, there are better beaches but watching the waves and looking out to the Lighthouse is nice.

Are you allowed camp fires on the beach (safely created of course)?

I can't see why not! Near Godrevy head the National Trust may ban it. The beach is very tidal and if you are responsible I can see no reason why not!
