It was so shocking. I have never ever written a review but was so appalled at the takeaway that we ordered yesterday for collection at 6.30 pm. We ordered two of their so called famous hamburgers with bacon and cheese and fries. The burgers had egg on it, I dont eat egg the fries were clearly left overs from the... More

We ate at the Victory twice over a long weekend. Friendly staff and prompt, efficient service. Average prices, but good value. Nothing to complain about except a few of the chairs were past sell-by date, creaky and a bit tatty. But overall a good experience

We had a big birthday party for 18 people upstairs at the Victory Inn which was fantastic. We had the whole room to ourselves with a little balcony and terrace which had a big harvest moon shining straight on it. We didn't even have to pre-order our mains (although we had pre-ordered lobsters for our starters just in case) and... More

We booked a table in advance by telephone and were sorry that the proprietor did not mention that the premises were undergoing renovation and that the dining room upstairs was closed. We ate in the bar from a disappointingly limited menu. I'm not a great one for walking out of places - we had booked and we were expected and... More

The rooms although not pristine were more that adequate with all the usual facilities. As it is a pub there is the expected noise although it did not disturb us. The position of the place is perfect for walking, ferry, shops and good food. The staff were all... More

A great evening was spent at The Victory Inn St Mawes in cornwall. The pub is located up some steps near the harbour. . A Real fire was blazing and the welcome was just as warm. VERY VERY Good food

The Victory Inn is a lovely pub with beautiful en suite bedrooms (the cheapest place to stay in St Mawes). Wonderfully fresh food ,we had seabass and a chicken and pumpkin curry. Another lovely pub was The Roseland Inn, Philleigh in a country location near The King Harry Ferry just 10 mins from St Mawes.
