As you are walking down High Street doing your shopping it's easy to miss the Guild Hall - but don't! Located near Lakeland and M&S, admission is free and your total visit will only last about 5 minutes. Just walk in and admire the beautiful...More

From the architectural wilderness that is Exeter High Street, the Guildhall is a welcome oasis of building class. The exterior of the building is splendid, with the intricately carved stonework topped by a rather unusual wooden structure. And if the splendid exterior suggest promise of...More

A magnificent old building, the front entrance door alone is from the 1500's. Its a free entry location so it makes no sense not to call in for a few minutes and view what was once the centre of commercial and legal power in the City.

A must see when in Exeter.. Great atmosphere inside the Lord Mayors chambers. My son recently went here as part of a school visit and he loved it.... especially meeting the Lord Mayor.

Invited by the Lord Mayor for receptions and meals on various occasions, food and service are excellent. All staff attentive and interested in the reasons for attending. Well worth a visit just to "feel" the place.
