I don't live to far away and was amazed that I hadn't been before. I heard about the show 'Cathy' through work and thought I would give it a watch! Wow the place was wonderful, intimate little theatre, really friendly staff who were so helpful and the play was just heart-breaking, real and wonderfully acted. I am now on the... More

We have been to this great intimate theatre quite a few times and each visit underlines what a great asset this is for Exeter!...last night we saw Cathy come home which was a truly fantastic production with a brilliant cast and provides plenty of food for thought!...if you can book tickets straight away!

The cocktails, the urbane and original performances, the friendly people, the comfy sofas, the best place in Exeter after the Northcott - but then I'm middle aged!

Went to see the play EuroHouse, which was an enjoyable commentary on the role of the European Central Bank and its relationship with the Greek State. Funnier than it sounds! The theatre was welcoming and friendly with a good bar. Only suggestion for improvement, is to provide some soft cushions for the wooden chairs! Check it out fir yourself!

Just had my first trip to the Bike Shed to see Lucy Bell's 'Are you there?' A great humorous insight into Christianity with some really poignant issues surrounding the struggles parents face when caring for their children. Do go along if you have a chance to get tickets. The Bike Shed itself is a wonderfully cosy little bar, ( I... More

Have been going to this quirky, cosy venue for some years. A great variety of orginal theatre by innovative and clever theatre companies. This is what makes living in Exeter great.

Been here a few times, nice little place but the beer was awful every single time so I won't be going back again until they get someone who can keep a pint of real ale

Hello, I’m sorry to hear your experience wasn’t as good as you expected, we appreciate your feedback on your visit. We’re aware that storage and service of our real ale is something we have struggled with due to the logistics of space within our venue and provision of our best-selling drinks. We always have a number of bottled local real... More

I was taken to this place by friends & was sure what to expect. Playing really cool 50s music on a Saturday night with Lindybop style dancing! The place itself is very cool, rustic feeling. Only downside was that the two cocktails I had seemed to be made by a new guy, so they weren't any good. Would get a... More

Took in three of the Fringe shows and had a brilliant experience. The staff were relaxed and helpful and the retro decor was a chilled backdrop to a thoroughly charming evening. The shows were fantastic. Onward Edinburgh !
