Our first visit here whilst staying in the area. Drove down where parking is very limited but it was early evening so no problem. Tide was low so we were able to have a lovely walk along the beach. Definitely need to check tide times,...More

This is a beach with no facilities. No cafe or toilets. Parking is on the edge of the road so not really suitable for wide vehicles. Lovely views out to sea and Mothecombe beach

Wonwell and Coastguards lie on the Flete Estate on the Erme Estuary. At low tide there are miles of sand to walk on and you can 'wade' across up to mid tide. Special place!!

Beautiful views .. lovely to walk to. Kids love it . It's also lovely not having a beach shop there like other beaches .

If you want a walk on a beach with no facilities then this is the place. There is some parking on the side of the road but it is essentially a narrow road with 'pull-ins'

As has been said in other reviews arrive early. I'm fairly local and normally arrive early in the morning in order to park as close to the beach as possible as their are paddle boards to unload. The river is sheltered and fairly shallow when...More

We visit this beach out of season, when it is easy to access and park. In the summer however beware!! It's down little country lanes and then parking is severely limited. So if you don't like reversing or have a car you cherish I would...More

Yes you can. There aren't any bins so you'll need to take any poo bags away with you.
