Good night out

Great night out. Drinks cheap. Monday and Wednesday nights are the best. Ice room and disco room are great. One of the best places in Plymouth.

This week the owners and social media announced that Plymouth's biggest nightclub is to close in mid October for a makeover and rebranding. Apparently seven others in the Oceana chain have already changed and are now called PRYZM. The nearest us Bristol. Part of the building is to have a new bar to be called Stienbeck & Shaw which is... All the staff and all the random clubbers I spoke to were sound. As someone living in London it was probably the cheapest night I have had in years yet I had put away a lot of beers (and almost as many southern comforts). It also has different areas to wander around which reminded me a bit of clubbings golden... More

I used to go here all the time but recently it is awful.. The drink prices are much more than other places and all the locks in the toilets are broke. I did notify them about this and a year down the line there still the same! People trying to sell drugs in there too. Apart from that the atmosphere... More

We were there in Plymouth this December and was recommended to visit this club. Went on a Friday night and was amazed with the club. The staff were very supportive and welcoming . The entry is only with a photo ID and the entrance is really cheap compared to the modern and superb infrastructure. Great music and drinks are reasonable.... More

Large club chain's Plymouth branch. There's always that small chance that if you go with reliable fun friends, the door staff are on better behaviour, the dynamic of the masses in the various rooms is on the benign side of trigger happy, then you might just have a good safe night out. Take care.

It was last minute we decided to go night clubbing and it was a Monday so we were not expecting much. However it turned out to be a pre-fresher event so by midnight the place was beginning to pack out. Drink we're cheap (my opinion on this is probably not the best as I'm used to paying around $10 in... More

Now that the Plymouth Tripadvisor categories have extended to include a 'Nightlife' section perhaps Oveana would be better listed there with the other hundred plus pubs and clubs. Oveana is a large slightly dated but mostly modern club attracting big numbers at weekends. It is a bit off the beaten track away from the a Barbican proper but set in... More
