Great place on a sunny or rainy day! Go for a swim if it's sunny! Lovely place to walk around and get back to nature

I am lucky enough to go though these woods on most days on my commute to work - on foot or bike depending on my needs. The woods can be accessed from Coypool car park (Plymouth Marsh Mills Side) just under 2 mile walk or if you happen to be there on a Sunday the Plym Valley Train can take... More

Lovely place for children to explore. There is even a river that you could play in but it is cold. You can walk your dogs there, they love to play in the woods & river... the only downside is that some dog owners don't pick up after there dogs which is very infuriating.. other than that it's a massive place... When we first discovered this walk with the dog we only used the path which was also a cycle track which can be dodgy when cyclists either don't use a bell or ring it when they are too close! Then we got to the other side of the river. Gorgeous, no bikes, paddling spots for the dog (or children) ,... More

We happened across the lovely spot through friends we accompanied on a dog walk. If you park at Coypool park and ride (free) you can cycle along the well kept (and flat) cycle track to the PlymBridge Woods car park. From here, cycle up the trail all the way to Clear Brook where you can sample a well deserved drink... More

Having visited often in the 1960's for picnics and swimming in the river we revisited today. There remain lovely walks by the river with plenty of areas to swim if you wanted just like there were all those years ago. The paths have been improved but still rustic, an off road bike track and of course the cycle path from... More

Large area of mainly wood with some open spaces with a river running through. Great for cyclists, walkers and dogs. Many routes of varying physical difficulty.

Came here for a run, lovely round by the trees and nature. Great place to go for a walk and take your dog even. Would recommend.

A fabulous place to spend walking and admiring all that nature has to offer.the peaceful flow of the river winding it's way through woodlands to the ancient bridge and beyond.the walks will take you past the remains of industry and railways too.indeed the tracks are now used by walkers and cyclists alike taking you on to the villages once served...
