This church is huge and has an impressive presence when you walk in the door. It s not old or has special decorations aside from the wonderful modern stained glass within the East windows. On a sunny day the light from these is breath-taking.

Quite impressed by the recently installed statue of St Andrew casting his net. I fear for the net itself which must be at risk of distortion or vandalism within a few months but I hope that its relevance and quality may put off even the...More

Attended a Sunday Family Service. There were a lot of children who went off to their activities. The service only lasted an hour but was just what we needed on a weekend away. it seemed quite a friendly place with lots going on.

The motto over the door, erected after total destruction by enemy action in WW2 sums up the importance of this church to the city's morale in the darkest days of war, and the commitment to peace. Very interesting exhibitions: new, modern stained glass; and a...More

I visited this church when I went to Plymouth. It is free to get in and has some beautiful stained glass windows. The people there are really friendly and are welcoming and know their history of the church.

Before matins Sunday morning, at least one night a week and sometimes before weddings. I've always though that it would be good if the very best was put in for a funeral but apart from a single tolling bell I've not noticed... More
