Pleasantly surprised! Great for a rainy day.

I'll be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to this as I got the impression the place would be rather tacky but still thought the kids would enjoy it. I was sooo wrong... read more

Throughly enjoyed this attraction. The weather was awful and it was packed but the staff were friendly and very helpful. Alot of thought had gone into this and we learnt alot of amazing facts. Some of the exhits the children could touch would was fabulous. There was a trail to follow with a prize at the end and a picture... More

Really would not recommend over Easter - we have been before and my son enjoyed it but today we went and the whole experience was ruined by the really tacky Easter theme they have got going on . Don't get me wrong I love kiddies Easter hunts etc but this is way way over the top and makes the whole... More

Dear lovetoshop7, thank you for getting in touch and I’m sorry that you did not enjoy the Easter promotion. As a business owner I want all visitors to have an enjoyable experience when they visit, however, sometimes no matter how hard we try we can’t satisfy all our visitors all of the time. Like any business owner I have to... More

In an area where there is simply so much to see, do and explore I'm glad that Torquays Dinosaur World is on the smaller side. I went with my 2 young teenage children and they loved it! We spent about an hour and a half becoming dinosaur experts, posing for funny dinosaur 'selfies' and getting stuck into the more interactive... More

Dear Reviewer, thank you for your feedback and it's great to see that you and your children enjoyed the visit. We do get many older visitors as the exhibition is designed to appeal to all ages groups with lots of detailed information so that visitors can read and learn about dinosaurs, as well as the more interactive exhibits such as... I'll be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to this as I got the impression the place would be rather tacky but still thought the kids would enjoy it. I was sooo wrong... Their models are meant to be as lifelike as possible and because they're made of plastic and fiberglass if means you can get up close and touch... More

Dear reviewer, thank you for your comments, and it's good to know your initial impressions were misplaced. We have bought hand made models from all over the world and created the scenes ourselves to show the world of dinosaur brought to life. And unlikely many visitor attractions we allow visitors to interact with many of the dinosaurs and fossils, as... More

This is a lovely exhibit and the models are very realistic. My friends children who were with us (3yrs and 6yrs) loved it all and had a great time, but our son (only 13 months) was not that interested. So the attraction is probably best for children who are 3+. The staff were great with the children and talked to... More

We had planned to visit here on our trip to Torquay with a 5 year old. But we stumbled on it when the rain started - it was a great place. Its fairly small and we passed about 2 hours in here - the staff are very friendly and great with kids, we did the easter egg hunt and that... More

The best part of this attraction was as it was Easter there was an egg hunt....if we weren't doing this we would have been in and out in less than an hour. Quite expensive for a (in my opinion) a cheap and tacky attraction. Not many real exhibits, mainly plastic or fibreglass models. Maybe I was expecting too much Quite... More

Dear visitor, thank you for your feedback and we are disappointed that you did not appreciated the exhibition. The exhibition is designed to be engaged with, to have fun learning about dinosaurs, interacting with the exhibits. And visitor can always complete the fun quiz, or the Dinosaur Easter Egg Hunt as it is for the Easter holidays. As for the... More

We took approximately an hour to do this activity but at only £7 an adult it isn't too bad, plus our daughter enjoyed it, it would probably take longer with older kids, my daughter is only 2 so didn't spend much time at each dinosaur, was more interested in the ones she could sit on! There's plenty of information cards... More

We have gone past this on previous visits to Torquay and always been disappointed that is is closed - turned out that this year it was open on our anniversary so we decided to pop in. It is quite fun (although more aimed at young children, obviously!) and the vast majority of the attraction is wheelchair accessible (with the exception... More
