I know that this is the premier English beach town. But the beach is all rocks. And the weather is generally cold and damp. I have trouble wrapping my head around it. The rock beach is, however, broad with some restaurants on beach level under the walk. You can walk on the pavement just above the beach as well. Give... More

Brighton beach is a pebble beach located within easy reach of a of local hotels and the town centre. There is lots of space even on very sunny days. I opted for an early morning run along the sea front to blow away the cobwebs.

Brighton beach is NOT sandy, it's a pebble beach, but if you're not disappointed by that fact you're going to have a great day! Cafes and small businesses on the boardwalk are a pleasant distraction from sunbathing, from galleries supporting local artists to the fishing museum (free!) Bungee jumping or the ever popular carousel. Brighton has it all.

Brighton beach is a great place to come with your friends. Visit a few bars, stroll along the promenade or chill on the stony beach. Don't wonder too far towards the nudest section or you might get a fright lol. Brighton council need to hurry up with the regenerations along Madeira Drive

There is a party atmosphere here when it is sunny and the whole of Brighton, plus tourists, descend onto the seafront. people seat on the beach, drink in the bars, eat in the restaurants and cafes, or simply enjoy walking on the seafront and chatting. There are cheap souvenirs shops and a few art and craft shops. A really nice... More

Fantastic 'Old Fashioned' beach with great smells of everyting you would expect to see from fish & Chips to Rock, ice cream tarot card readers to funfairs. Lots of safe areas for walking and soaking up the atmosphere with a beer or two. Reasonable prices as well.
