A fantastic place for a wander (either long or short). A great viewpoint with sweeping landscapes in all directions. Great location to fly a kite, walk the dog, take photographs or enjoy a quiet drink in the pub.

We came to Devil's Dyke to experience both the views and the food. We weren't disappointed with either. The food was unpretentious and delicious and just what we needed after our morning hike. The portions were generous. The views were stunning and far reaching. We...More

When you reach the top of this beauty spot on a clear day you can see for miles in all directions. You can drive and park or take the bus if you are looking for a fairly short walk. There is a underwhelming and unattractive...More

Can't imagine the Devil created this place - it's stunningly beautiful! National Trust parking on the top of the South Downs at Devil's Dyke, especially on a clear day, offers views across rolling countryside, Brighton below, and the sea beyond. Excellent area for short or...More

Ate there today and several times in last couple of months. Each time the food has been excellent, fresh, top quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Sea bass with asparagus just wonderful and today's salmon Caesar beyond expectation. Dog friendly too which is why I...More

I have grown up with Devil's Dyke in my local area, I absolutely love the views from the top and the walk down to Fulking (less fond of the walk back up again haha). It's great to see the paragliders in action, loads of space...More

Great walks, fantastic views, interesting history, worth a few hours visit on a clear day. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the refreshments other than the suitably resident ice cream van-

I'd agree. Absolutely nothing like the Netherlands although I have a feeling there is a windmill not that far away.

Tree parking on the other side of the park / reserve, in the dip. I have parked there before, but beware, it's an uphill climb and quite steep in some cases.

Yes, absolutely, no problem. However, be mindful that it's still necessary to pick up and dispose of their droppings. If there are any sheep or cattle in the vicinity, then it's best to put the lead on your dog.
