Went to the parkrun here as a one off. Really pleasant experience, friendly people and flat course on tarmac. The cafe for the post run coffee is amazing. All home cooked cakes and biscuits and lovely staff.
Lovely place to walk, watch the many sports being played and to relax with a cup of tea or coffee. The food at the Rotunda cafe great value for money. A great park to relax and enjoy a peaceful time.
Great park, has a bit for everyone. Areas for so many different sports and activities. Plenty of space for plenty of games of football/rounders/frisbee as well as public toilets and a play area.

Has beautiful garden with pond , nice play area for children and large area for picnics and outdoor games.
Amazing insight into the Preston family. I took my six year old nephew and niece with me who are convinced they saw the dead Butler walking round the basement. Look out for the room where they used to do seances.
The weather was hot and Sunny when we went for an evening walk. the Park is of a really good size ,with lots of people BBQing ,in groups . I would recomend it ,if the weather is good . the gardens are good also .
