You have to visit to appreciate the lanes...loved our visit! Quirky shops and cafes spread over a few lanes.

Lovely spot for shopping, really unique place! Think you probably need a couple of trips too see everything and avoid taking your kids if they're not avid shoppers!!!

Really nice on a sunny day and as title says perfect for a day out, lots of different little shops, cafes etc. Can spend a good few hours slowly walking around. Well worth a visit.

The lanes are just of the main road of Brighton and lead down to the seafront. They are quite narrow in parts and it can be a bit of a squeeze with others during busy periods. There are a lot of jewellery shops and bars,...More

Like something out of a Harry Potter novel. Narrow walkways full of an eclectic assortment of shops and cafes. Well worth a visit.

This was our 4th visit to Brighton and a trip to The Lanes is always on my to do list. Lovely individual shops with no cars, lots of coffee shops on the way. Always make a few purchases

Great choice of small independent shops and pedestrian friendly. Here you can wander around and find unusual shops that aren't part of a high street giant so you may find things that you never knew were available.

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
