I went here for the weekend with some girl friends for a birthday. We had a great time. The streets are small and buzzing with a good atmosphere. There are loads of shops that are very unique. The bars are great as well. Day or...More

Mainly consists of indvidual jewellers but the lanes are small and mean you can stroll around lazily window shopping without the need to buy anything. Any trip to Brighton would not be complete withourt a walk around the lanes.

Quirky & Quaint one could call this area of the City of Brighton as it has such character & style that this isn't copied anywhere else that I have seen before There are many eateries that serve a wide range of foods but especially healthy...More

A great place to get lost. Can spend hours looking at all the interesting things in the little shops. Definitely a must when visiting Brighton.

We visited Brighton on Friday 11th Nov 2016 and were totally blown away by the day we had chosen. The sky was as blue as a blue thing :-) with hardly a cloud to be seen on the horizon. We visited the BA i360 first,...More

This is well worth a visit but take a full pocket as you are sure to find something to buy. All styles here. Very funky. Alternative eateries. Quite far from train station and parking is very expensive.

Diverse mix of shops selling variety of goods / services / food. Ramshackle but that's the style. Popular with the locals and tourists and good place to buy something unusual.

I felt that the vibrant heart of the city was located in those winding little streets. Numerous pubs and restaurants. Just get lost in there and enjoy

You can just pop in. Most are really happy to help you out. Make sure you haggle.

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
