Booked to visit the Royal Pavilion when staying for a weekend recently. I was with friends from Cornwall and Aberdeen. For me a sentimental reminder of years ago when I lived in Brighton. I was unaware that this once stunning building had suffered in a fire and an horrendous storm in years since I lived close by. I was saddened... More

The building is impressive and rather unusual. Entrance is expensive and doesn't include a free guidebook which was disappointing as we didn't really know what the rooms were or much about the history of the building.

Beautiful walk around the gardens. Magnificent building, which we didn't go inside to see, but saw from the outside

Step back in time when bling ruled OK! This is a unique experience...and however many times I visit this confection there is always something to discover. It is truly breath taking and also a glimpse into the life and times of the king of bling....the Prince Regent. Be prepared to be amazed...and then sample a goodie from the excellent tea... More

There were works going on at the time but the council seems to be doing a good job of looking after the place only seen from the park

Enjoyed the interior and exterior of the main rooms as usual. enjoyed new additions like a piano returning to the Royal Pavilion and exhibitions about the Pavilion being a Hospital for Indian Soldiers during WW1 and one about Queen Victoria's time at the Pavilion. The Rex Whistler " George IV awakening the Spirit of Brighton " makes me smile despite... More

We took the audio tour and while I have seen many palaces this one will stand out. It is uniquely beautiful and the stories are very interesting. I would highly recommend this if you visit Brighton.
