There's not an option on here for type of visit with just family, I went with my dad. The building is beautiful so oldie worldie. Everyone should visit. You can have a cuppa in the cafe. When there is a show/concert on the bar is open or buy an ice cream. Festival time is in May lots of shows to... More

I've been to a few concerts at the Dome, it seems to improve every visit. It's more like a theatre with plush, comfy seats and loads of legroom. There are a bars on the ground and first floor. This time we sat in row D of the circle and had a perfect view of the stage. Acoustics are great. Only... More

Went to the Dome for the first time yesterday to see the American band Pink Martini. It was wonderful. Such a brilliant venue - built in 1804 but very very cleverly modernised. The design is excellent, the sightlines are great, the acoustics are good - I love it! Will certainly come back again soon.

What a beautiful building. A real beauty. Went to watch Rick Astley in concert there. Were a touch late but the staff were fantastic. So it was dark when we got in so didn't take in the full beauty of the place until the end of the show and when the lights came up. The show was great. And the... More

It is great to know this lovely building is getting a very well deserved revamp and update...there seems like a lot to be done...let's just hope they do not loose that wonderful atmosphere that the building has...I have been to the dome on score of occasions from folk concerts to formal graduation events, so know the inner workings of the... First visit here on 15th March to see Anderson, Rabin and Wakemann (who were superb!). Comfortable (but tired) seating with good leg room. Polite and helpful staff. Excellent acoustics. Parking at nearby RCP multi storey £4 after 5pm.

Returned to the Dome to see Jimmy Carr and enjoyed the evening so much my sides ached! The venue is good though the seats are uncomfortable after an hour and the toilets can't cope with the numbers.

One of the best venues I've been to. Seats are comfortable and leg room good. Sight lines (in the circle anyway) are excellent. Acoustics are also excellent. Seem to be plenty of bars too. Would love to come to other events here.

Lovely spot to stop off and relax with a coffee to restore your energy in bright calm surroundings. Soak up the history of this former royal stable before stepping back outside into the hustle and bustle
