This nature reserve has to be one of the nicest places we've been for a long time. Free to use, although the car park is £3.00 for the day. Very reasonable. Whether you're into bird watching, photography or just want to walk in stunning surroundings,...More

we went up on a cold windy day so didn't stay too long. But we would go again and perhaps take a picnic on a nice day. Lovely and unspoiled.

We went up on the Vernicular Railway and the views were magnificent. Very well maintained, a bit steep for the less fit, but definitely worth. A visit

A great dog walk up here on Easter Saturday. We started going to the quarry, but we had to turn back as it was so boggy. One part looked like a canoe was needed to cross! Ended up walking round the coastguard cottages. And the...More

It’s definitely worth a trip on the cliff railway (East Hill) up to the country park for the best views over Hastings and the seascape beyond! It’s also a great place for a country walk

Even on a rainy day, we loved walking across this park. I would recommend hiking boots on such a day, as it gets extremely muddy for quite long stretches of the paths.

Long walk - short walk - the choice is yours. You did need to be a bit active though because there are some steep slopes to climb. But worth it for the views.
