A lovely walk around some interesting architecture. Sadly the park is not as good as it once was due to cut backs the council tell me.The park used to be for the blind and all beds filled with heavily scented flowers and shrubs and the labels were in braille.

It's where it all began... Beautiful area which is lovely to wander. Many local residents enjoying an outside drink here, but don't let them stop you enjoying.

This is a beautiful part of St Leonards on Sea with the historic buildings that adorn this area designed by the great Decimus Burton so long ago but have all stood the test of time and are definitely worth a visit if in the area

This is on the up but still a fair way to go as still too many street drinkers around. Many eastern european shops and charity shops but there are some great healthy snack cafes. The gardens are well kept.

Breath taking architecture, beautiful walls and greenery. If you love all that Burton stuff, this will not disappoint. Some of the most amazing examples of early Victorian architecture around (I think).

We enjoy walking up from the seafront through the park and up along to the Maze. The park is well maintained and a boon for the locals

This is the original St. Leonard's, dating from the 1820s and 30s. Many great buildings to be seen. Gloucester Lodge is probably the best, sited at the top of the gardens. Some attractive lodges left and lovely houses like those in East Ascent and Stanhope Place and The Lawn. Royal Victoria hotel could be great if properly restored. Try to... More

You can wander the streets and view stunning examples of various styles of architecture, something to appeal to all styles. I always enjoy a stroll after looking round the shops and cafes of St Leonards on Sea which has really come on in the last few years. Look round the beautifully kept garden.
