The Stade is a great place to stroll parallel with the sea. There's loads to do in the area including wet fish shops, fish & chip shops and amusements for the kids. We visit often.

The Stade is the name for the area where the Hastings fishing fleet is launched. Meaning "landing place", it is home to the largest beach launched fishing fleet in Europe

Seems we only come here in cold weather but still very enjoyable. Shingle Beach with unique tall fisherman`s net stores. Fresh fish sales , seafood outlets , pub and toilets together with museums and shops make this well worth a visit. Must try to visit...More

Yes there are many differing things to do here including the restaurants and the public houses as well as the amusements which are changing each time visitors go down then and then there is the crazy golf as well which is oh so popular Definitely...More

Visited again and picked the coolest day of the week . Fans of Foyles War will recognise the old fishermens net huts being distinctive tall buildings still in use. Also used excellent shops for sale of seafood and fish. Just a unique place
