I used this back in the summer, when i visited Hasings Old Town to buy some fish from our excellent fishmongers there. The line runs from by the Boating Lake, to the area known as Rock-a-Nore. There are no intermediate stops, and the other terminus is close to the East Hill Cliff Railway, the Blue Reef Aquarium, the Shipwreck Centre, the... More

Our kids enjoyed the experience on a sunny October afternoon, it is reasonably priced and well cared for. Arguably over a little too swiftly despite limited speed of trains.

£2 single or £3 return. A quaint trip hauled by a variety of small locos. not a long trip through the 'Stade' next to the beach but fun, for all train fans.

The engines themselves look fantastic, they are obviously well loved and looked after, but the line is very short and doesn't really go anywhere I guess it doesn't really matter to the kiddies who ride it though. The stations are very run down, and the line itself not well cared for, it just feels a bit unloved.

We visited the seafront 3 times during our week long holiday, the railway was only open one of these times. We sat by the booth (displaying train open signs) for 15 mins but there was no sign of the train, no one to ask and no information on the time of the next train. I had a very disappointed 3... More

Love travelling along on the train. It doesn't go far, but it's the experience to have along the seafront with young kids. Tickets reasonably priced and takes in a good distance along the seafront. Don't forget to wave!

People in the know Choo Choo choose to travel this way!! Non stop from one end to the other and you can get a return for just 50% more of the £2.00 single. And guess what.... travel as a group of five and the fifth person doesn't have to pay. And he does not need to stoke the engine as... More

So tiny. My 5 year old loved it, he said it was his favourite thing in Hastings. So cute. Doesn't go very far though!!

Our family had to make two return journeys over two days to appreciate this little gem. Lovingly tended by a small team including young members. Simply great seaside town fun.
