Had a fabulous paddleboarding lesson with Cliff as our instructor on the sea in Hastings. Having not been out for a paddle for quite a while, I wasn't feeling very confident but Cliff was a great communicator and instructor and very encouraging and positive and enabled me to achieve alot more than I thought in just one lesson. I also developed my skills on the water and feel much more confident in general. As well as learning alot, it super good fun in the process!! And we were lucky to see a seal swimming not far away from us! Will definitely be returning for more lessons in the future with Cliff. Highly recommended.…

Epic life were super helpful and phoned me back to advise and assist with booking the right kayaks to get my children on the Rother River at Bodiam. The river is lush and inviting but narrow and shallow so perfect for older children to be able to have their own kayaks or boards. By booking ahead it was easy to sign the paperwork and get out there and it was quiet and easy to paddle to the castle and back. So relaxing but still active and fun for the children, it made our holiday.…

Myself, my husband and my six year old daughter hired a canoe from Cliff of Epic Life. Fantastic family experience. Easy and fun for all ages. Cliff has a great range of kayaks, canoes and wetsuits and made us feel relaxed and reassured. We paddled from Bodiam Hub along the river to the bridge and back. It was great to see National Trust's Bodiam Castle from the river. Cliff is an excellent, knowledgeable tutor - definitely recommend.…

My family decided on a day-tip to the Hub at Bodiam yesterday as the weather was nice. We didn't plan to go canoeing but got talking to Cliff and his enthusiasm, professionalism as well as the Covid-19 safety measures he had in place (and, of course the weather was lovely), meant that we decided to have a lovely paddle up the river. I would recommend a day out to The Hub and then seeing Cliff at Epic Life (just follow the signs) for a paddle to anyone. Thanks a lot and will see you again soon.…

Went paddle boarding with a couple of friends. Cliff was our instructor, he was an excellent teacher, patient, understandable and funny! Certainly have the bug and will go back for more. Highly recommended.
