Very nice experience!

Been there with my girlfriend and we spend a couple of hours here. Was a nice experience to see how the things are going in a trout farm. The entrance fee is reasonable! Recommend!

Well worth a visit. A marvellous operation, and in the most delightful surroundings. Lovely to walk through the beautifully planted grounds, and learn all about the fryary and fishery. Great for families. Only 50p to feed the fish. Great picnic spot too. Plus play area.

We enjoyed going round the trout farm. Not too expensive and really interesting seeing the amazing numbers of trout, swimming in the pools. It would make a great day out for the family as you can feed the trout as well as fish for trout and then barbecue them for lunch. Signs around the farm tell you about the various... More

Thank you for your review. As you mentioned it is very popular with families who come fishing and then BBQ their catch. More

We stopped here for a bite to eat in the café without visiting the farm. Needless to say LOTS of interesting variations of trout dishes on the menu, and all very mouth watering. As Bibury was awash with tourists who are likely to never return here we weren't expecting as good a meal as we got, so I have to... More

Thank you for your positive comments. We do try hard to give good food and good service which can be a challenge at times when so many of our customers do not speak English. Very glad you enjoyed you lunch. More

Stayed in the Cotswalds for the weekend, and had seen the village of Bibary described, by William Morris, as one of the prettiest in England. He wasn't wrong. It is an equistite village with two water courses going through it, and in the middle of the village a Trout Farm! This does not sound good, but it's a lovely place.... More

We visited on a Saturday afternoon when the weather was a bit overcast. Entry was about £4 per adult. Fish food available at 50p per pot. Wandered around the ponds and fed the fish. Decided not to fish for our own on this occasion, but may do on out next visit. You pay for what you catch.

A small fee to enter then you can inspect all the various lakes where the rainbow trout are reared, small ones right up two two foot monsters. If you have the time take a picnic minus the meat, you can grab a rod catch your own trout, it's not hard they throw themselves at your hook, staff are on hand... More

This is a must visit for any fisherman and an interesting educational attraction for those that aren't. My wife even enjoyed it.

We stopped here for an icecream alone as we wandered through Bibury village on a hot June midweek afternoon. We paid £2.25veach for two scoops each. The scoops were borderline unacceptable - you wouldn't you could get bthis wrong .... but be warned. TIP: See if the icecream van is on the other sode of the road !?
