All the Cotswold region is absolutelly incredible, specially for people who loves gardens, stone cottages and sheep. Cheltenham is excellent as a departure point for other Villages.

the highlight of the Cotswold way was definitely sleeve hill - the highest point in the Cotswolds. there were amazing views and I very strongly recommend visiting at least some of it.

A very varied and interesting long distance walk. The views of the Severn valley are great and the variety works well. We did it over several weekends and enjoyed the different aspects of the walk.

You can get the train to Bath Spa station and then walk the Cotswold Way from south to north. This means you get the prevailing wind behind you. At the north end, there is no station in Chipping Campden, but you can get the... More

Hi. I would recommend making reservations at that time of year, as accommodation can be limited in some places along the Trail. I walked it over 8 days last year, averaging around 12 miles a day. You will have plenty of... More
