Le Spa is now closed, and is being vandalised by intruders. Plans are apparently being submitted to turn it into a residential care home for elderly people.

No point in going here - it's been closed for a few years now! Trying to make this up to 100 characters, but should no longer be shown on Trip Advisor. Didn't visit in Dec 2012 as it had been closed long before

this venue is closed and has been for the last year or so. it went downhill very quickly. lovely building, poor staff attitude, restaurant too reliant on healthy options. overpriced for quality offered.

A true shame. Their service was terrible, they clearly lacked any management (or management that had any clue of how to run a high class establishment). Such a shame as it had the perfect setting and opportunity to be something wow. You only have to drive down the road a few miles to Calcot Manor and see how it should be done. I hope someone takes this place on and really gives it the love it deserves. The rooms were dirty, glasses broken and staff clearly demotivated. I predicted it's closure in 2009 when you could see it deteriorating. Such a shame but a lesson that if you want a business to succeed you need to invest not just time and money but the RIGHT staff. SERVICE is the chalk to a blackboard!

Not surprised it's closed down went in June the place was dirty you couldn't find anyone to serve drinks for breakfast dnner took hors to come much like the Marie celeste all needed renovation. One morning our room was left unlocked with the master keys in the door!another morning no hot water for showers or washing. staff seemed disinterested and equipment out of order everywhere! No way to run a business
