We are here on a Saturday in August and it was delicious. The portions were excellent, the food was cooked to perfection and it was really impressive. I had the portobello mushroom burger - a lot of thought had been put into how it was served and it was lovely. Called in as we went to bookshop next door . Lovely clean spacious pub , sort of place that would be my local if I lived in the area . I had the fish and chips and my son had fries . Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive . The haddock was very tasty and the batter was crisp without being greasy big plus was homemade chips and a choice of garden peas or mushy peas. If I’m in area again I’ll return . …

Came In for Sunday dinner and was not disappointed. Food was lovely, couldn’t fault it, we had roast lamb and the mixed roast and both were really delicious. Nice staff and friendly pub dog. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for an afternoon drink, warm welcome and great beer. Sat in the beer garden to enjoy the afternoon sunshine, well worth a visit, food menu looks good also....next time we will try the menu 🍻
