Went to view the numerous Yew Trees (nearly 100), all beautifully trimmed, but the church and Lych Gate are well worth seeing. There is a car park nearby costing 20p for an hour -can't get cheaper than that!

A beautiful church with an unusual clock face. The 99 Yew trees are famous as Satan apparently stopped the 100 tree being grown. Great place for photos

The church and churchyard is the focal point of Painswick. The churchyard is very picturesque and most famous for the 99 yew trees that grow there, (There is a legend that the devil will not allow a hundreth tree!)
