If you have doubts about the cost of visiting Osbourne don't it is so worth it! The house is very interesting but the gardens and beach are worth the entrance fee alone! They are totally stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The trip down to the beach can be done by mini bus! The gift shop is nice... More

We planned this trip poorly only allowing a couple of hours prior to the return ferry. Could easily have spent the whole day. We visited OH 5 years ago with a 4 year old and had fun. Now with a 9 year old and 5 year old it was still very entertaining and the kids really enjoyed the Easter Egg... More

Lovely day out, most impressed by the huge, beautiful grounds surrounding the house. Lovely walk down to the beach where the royal family would go and interesting Swiss Cottage where the kids would play. Perfect day to relax, wander and soak up nature.

I was lucky to visit here on a lovely summer's day and the grounds and the views are outstanding. The house is the perfect time capsule for Queen Victoria's reign, after her death in 1901 the private rooms were locked by the family and thus you still feel almost as an intruder in a family home. The kitchen with plates... More

Visited end of December on the way back to the ferry. Beautiful, impressive house and grounds, was fine when we arrived, but by the time we walked to the private beach the fog ruined the view. Despite this, really elegant, definitely worth a visit, would go again in the summer to appreciate the gardens.

Osborne was the place at which Queen Victoria felt most at home and at peace with her family. The tour of the house (now managed by English Heritage) gives a fascinating insight into Victoria's life both before and after Prince Albert's death. The historical material is well presented and there are plenty of volunteers around to give further information. It... More

Osborne house is definitely worth a visit. Plenty to see as you walk around the house and you can easily spend hours sitting in a deck chair watching the boats in the Solent from Osborne's private beach. English Heritage manage the property and as there a few EH properties on the Island it is worth becoming a member if you... More

One of my favourite English heritage properties. This is such a huge place with so much to see and do, the day just slipped away without us realising. Lovely house with beautiful views, lovely walks in the gardens or private beach. The food in the various cafes was excellent too. We'll definitely go back next time we're on the island.

Beautiful house and gardens and beach. Particularly Queen Victoria s apartments. Loads to do. Brilliant garden too. Never have I visited such a place full of so much history and interest. Definately worth a visit
