Surely piers are meant to be a promenade from the shore out to the sea? This one appears to be a promenade along the front only. Full of the usual fast food and amusements if you like that sort of thing you'll like this place.

At least the evening we were there there wasn't much going on, the rides were closed. There were a couple of areas with arcade games and one shop open. We went into a restaurant there, but quickly changed our minds as it was very noisy.

Small scale fair ground rides. Small roller coaster, waltzers dodgems. All paid for with tokens. Best value is to book an all rides wristband on line and let your youngsters go mad for three hours.

This pier did not impress me. There is a nice minigolf track in this part but prices are high. The rest of Clarence Pier was more like faded glory to me.
