Featuring the Mary Rose Museum and world famous ships HMS Victory and HMS Warrior 1860. Plus visit HMS Alliance, the only remaining WW2 era British ocean going submarine, and the M33, the sole remaining British veteran of the bloody Dardanelles Campaign of 1915-1916. Also including the National Museum Royal Navy Portsmouth, Action Stations and the Harbour Tours, as well as the new Women in the Navy Exhibition and the Jutland Exhibition, there's plenty to see and do. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is a great day out for all the family. Situated within a working Naval Base, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is the only place in the world to see the Royal Navy past, present and future - a must see for anyone visiting the south of England.

Very interesting place to visit. Too much to do it justice in one day, although we gave it a good try. Last time we saw the Mary Rose it was still covered in the drying out pipes. Much better now, and with many added visual...More

Wander into the dockyard and spend the day soaking up the naval history. If you do the full ticket you get to go through all museums etc plus the boat trip around the harbour plus the visit to the Submarine museum over in Gosport.

I am not a sailor, or that enamoured of nauticalia or naval history, but the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is fascinating. It is very well presented and offers some very interesting and enthralling exhibits from the HMS Warrior to the outstanding Mary Rose Museum. I thoroughly...More

You pay for what you get in this life. A day trip here could cost you a lot of money but I honestly felt extremely pleased with my day there. Just the three ships alone fill you with awe and the history blows you away....More

A great selection of museums and attractions, the Victory is a must, but not the most easy movement around the ship, amazingly they didn't think about tourists 250 years ago !!!

We loved it here, took us 2 days to get around and would happily visit again. We have told all our friends to visit.

I think this has to be the best museum/exhibition I have been to. The sheer size of The Mary Rose is incredible. I visited for two days and still did not see everything at the docks.
