What a scenic place to have a walk around the harbour. It was a beautiful day and very interesting looking at the different boats and the apartments/houses overlooking the waterside. There is free parking and a good shopping complex there. We went to the cinema to watch the new James Bond film and then had a meal at the Sir Alec Rose. My partner also got a pair of boots on sale at the Pavers shop. That’s what I call a happy day.

A really lovely port for walking around on a sunny day. Worth a visit if you're in the area with plenty of food & drink units near by

An august evening meal out and ended up at 4 different places asking if we could eat a meal outside as it looked a lovely place to sit overlooking the marina and at each place we were told they are not serving food outside. As we travelled here especially for a celebration meal we were shocked that this was the case. I can understand if it was raining but it wasn’t. Why have all the tables outside and no one sitting on them. The only place that did was Wetherspoons and it was jam packed. As we had a dog we didn’t have the option to eat inside as noone allowed dogs in either so not dog friendly.

We really liked Port Solent, great place for a wander around the shops and some lovely restaurants. Beautiful spot for lunch or dinner, or just a drink!

A bit of a holiday vibe, with plenty of outside seating.
A lovely sunny day helped to enjoy the atmosphere.

Very much overpriced for poorly cooked food.
Lobster wasn't too bad but I'm not quite sure how a burger can be served undercooked in this day and age. I won't be returning there, the staff were very nice but the chef shouldn't be calling himself a chef I know that much.
What makes it worse is that you can relate to small errors happening in kitchens in a busy environment but it was empty.

We visited here for a birthday lunch at one of the restaurants. It is really convenient with free parking and not too busy. It is a short and nice stroll from the car park. For the less abled (elderly), there are lifts readily available so that is really handy for them to get between the floors without having to negotiate the stairs.

The place had a nice vibe. With many restaurants with seating areas overlooking the marina, for someone that is not local to the area, for a moment you can imagine being on holiday in a different country. Until the weather turns then you remember you are in the UK.

There is also a cinema and a large outdoor type shop (Go Outdoors) that sell outdoor gear and trainers.

One most important thing of all, it is dog friendly. What more could you ask for.

We had a nice time and would return.

Love to come here for a meal and a walk alongside the waterfront. It's such a beautiful place with all the boats, and occasionally we see swans and fish. It's fantastic in the summer
