Definitely recommend, pleasant staff , reasonable prices and we had a great surprise at the other end to travel on the world's oldest pier train for free ! The kids loved it definitely worth doing if you have half a day to fill

Great day out. If we had more time, would have been even better to stay longer in The New Forest. The operators of the ferry, train and bus are well informed and Super friendly. Glad we did it.

Great way to get from Southampton to Hythe which is a really cute and quiet place. I found the King George the 5th seat on the Hythe Tram by chance and sat in it, I was so impressed!

Very convenient way to travel to Ryde except that there was some problem with one of the ferries and we waited for about an hour to get on board.

I believe that you have the answer. It may be limited now but even in the days before car transport, many people boarded with bicycles.
