That place is very near to the bus stop which name is cenotap (may be). So you can walk around and see that memorial place easily.

The only memorial that I know of in commemorating the professionalism and sacrifice given by the Titanics Engineer Officers - ALL of whom stayed at their posts and sank with the vessel. True professionalism in the face of grave diversity which should never be forgotten. Worth visiting while you are in Southampton.

This is a well maintained memorial for the engineers of the Titanic and a reminder of how dangerous our seas can be. Don't forget the Musicians memorial just around the corner too.

We found this attractive memorial and garden while exploring Southampton. We are both very interested in the Titanic story and had recently been to the Titanic exhibition in the Sea City museum so we were very pleased to find this memorial. It is best viewed from the pavement as it faces outward, over the road.

Tucked away in the top right hand corner of East Park is this interesting monument to the 38 Marine engineering officers who died when the Titanic sank in 1912. There are 2 very fine bronze relief plaques which show the engineers at work. The monument looks out onto a busy road junction and is probably not visited by many people.... More

This was a little hard to find at first. We had to walk all the way around the park to eventually stubble upon it. As someone that enjoys everything about Titanic I found it very interesting. It was spoilt a little bit by the masses of graduating uni students and their families barging you out the way.

This wonderful commemorative piece of civic art is my own favourite sculpture in Southampton. It is important as a memorial to the Engineers lost in the Titanic disaster, and has more artistic value than the architecture of the Sea City Museum. The great bronze angel holds out wreaths above the heads of the engineers who are shown still at work.... More

I had traveled halfway around the world to finally see the memorial which was coincided with a world cruise. The titanic trial was a very interesting side tour to do before embarking on my own trip of a lifetime.

A quick and interesting visit, located in the city centre. Worth a visit, kept in good condition by the local authority.
