Since the move here from the old County Ground the ground gets better and better.Hotel is stunning and the stadium has never looked better.Only complaint is it needs a better bus service from Sholing so first bus take note.

Attended a conference here today. What a fabulous place with great views across the cricket pitch. Perfect for a larger meeting/conference!

Really enjoyed our trip to the Ageas bowl for a entertaining days cricket. Good selection of food and beers available for the game we went to. My only advice would be to plan your transport to and from the ground as there can be delays after the game. Personally we were ok this time as we used the park and... More

We went to watch England play cricket here. Tickets not too bad, food really good, can't be a bad view anywhere inside. The atmosphere especially in the evening is amazing. Can there be many better locations for a cricket ground. There was a good variety of food which actually wasn't over-priced unlike grounds in London. Reviews were that parking is... More

The Rose Bowl has got to be my favourite cricket ground. It's in a good location, right next to two hotels and we parked within minutes of the stadium. There's lots of choice when it comes to eating, with food stalls all the way around. There's a new Hilton hotel which directly overlooks the ground and it's very impressive -... More

This is an excellent venue, the only issue is the parking, blue badge parking was sold out even thou there was plenty of space left, but park & ride is too far away from the ground around 20-25 mins bus ride .... buses run very smoothly and queue time was almost less then 2-3 minutes, Food and drink was expensive... Unlike most major cricket grounds, it's possible to walk round the whole ground without losing sight of the cricket. This is due to the design of the ground with the main arena set in a bowl - hence the name! - with a flat bank (the berm) at the top around which one can walk. The pavilion, stands and the... More

This was our first visit to this stadium. We had pre-booked parking but due to traffic hold-ups we arrived 30 minutes after start of play and our space had been given away. The steward nonetheless found us a spot to park nearby. We were here to watch an ODI Eng v Pak which was a sell out. There are plenty... More

We went to watch England v Pakistan in the ODI. The ground is modern clean and easy to get around. Plenty of different things to eat and drink. The bar staff were friendly and helpful even though they only serviced Fosters lager. Plenty of toilets which makes a change at large stadiums. There is only one major problem and that... More
