Taking llamas for a walk doesn't sound the most exciting thing on paper, but it is so much more than that and a really worthwhile trip for any animal lover. First, you find out so much from their extremely caring owner Robert about their lives and temperaments (which turn out be very gentle and sensitive, contrary to the popular stereotype... More

My grand daughter and I had a very enjoyable day with the Llamas (Carnac and Stonehenge). We were all very well behaved, no spitting or moaning and friendly at all times. Our hosts were attentive and patient so that we were able to participant without feeling foolish or out of our depth. I would recommend this experience to anyone tempted... More

We had a great morning in a beautiful part of the world with the llamas. We were a family of 2 adults and 3 children aged 11, 8 and 5. We spent time grooming the llamas and seeing them fed and then went on a lovely walk through the village with them. The llamas were lovely and we were sad... More

Had a fabulous morning enjoying the company of some very friendly llamas and the Herefordshire countryside. Robert was very knowledgeable about his animals and obviously enjoys sharing that knowledge with others. A great experience for young and old alike.

We booked this experience as a birthday treat for my 10 year old daughter. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we got there by Robert and Amanda and a whole host of llamas at the gate too! We started off by getting to know the llamas and asking questions etc. We then got to groom them before... More

Here is our review, better late than never! (where does the time go??) I bought the Golden Valley Llama experience as a Christmas gift for my husband Dec 2014 and we booked our Trek at the end of June 2015. It was fantastic meeting all the Llamas and we had a superb day. The Llamas were very gentle and inquisitive... More

When our friend suggested this activity we were sceptical. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Robert gave us a very interesting introduction to the llamas and obviously cares greatly for them. It was very easy to bond with our respective llamas and each of them appeared to have a distinctive personality. The trek took us through the village and lovely... More

We did a llama trek here and it was amazing - would give more than 5 stars if we could! We learned so much about the llamas from Robert and saw all their individual personalities. We each had our own llama to trek with and we got to halter and groom them before we went out. Walking through the countryside... More

Was brought here as part of a weekend away as a surprise... and have to say it was one of the best things I've done in the last few years. Robert is clearly someone who is passionate about taking care of these animals and enjoys what he does, and this comes across in the tour. The tour was personalised, and... More
