The castle is only open a few times but the deer park opposite is a great place to go. It has plenty of walks with hard surfaces and a small lake. Quite hilly and you can walk to the beacon on the top of the hill. Well used by dog walkers.

We hadn't planned to go to the Chilli festival. We hadn't planned to go to the castle - but two for the price of one seemed too good to miss. If you are a serious castle enthusiast this might not be for you - it's a very recent build in castle terms and I doubt if Capability was still wielding... More

We went, in our campervan, to the Chili Festival. First it was a lovely quiet and scenic campsite, beautifully clean and laid back. The Festival itself was wonderful, well organised and immensely entertaining. Many, many stalls for everything chilli, good music and food. We had a trip around the castle interior. All I can say is it is amazing. Will... More

2nd visit to the castle and it's a 2nd visit to the Chilli festival. What a fantastic and unique festival. The stalls are brilliant. They appeal to all the tastebuds with a wide range of foods, cheeses, cooked foods, meats, spices galore. There is something for everyone. Plenty of cooking classes and things for the kids to do. The cider... More

Came here for the chilli festival but also had a look round the Castle and grounds. There is a beautiful lakeside walk. Parking was free. Lots of space to have a picnic. Vintage family day festival coming up.

This is a great day out. The grounds are delightful with activities for all ages and the house is well presented with first rate room guides - and dogs, welcome everywhere, can even go round the house. Even when there are no special events on this is a good value, relaxing day out. Strongly recommended.

Visited Eastnor Castle with the Grandchildren over the Easter. They enjoyed the Tree Hunt and the Adventure playground. Seeing as they are all under 11 they were interested in the inside of the Castle. The Grounds are wonderful with all the different trees. A lovely Tea Room serving snacks and lunches. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the day and finished up... More

We were really looking forward to enjoying a trip to Eastnor Castle over the Easter weekend but after our experience would not go there again and could not recommend it for families. On arriving we were informed that we must pay for entrance to the grounds and castle for everyone. We were aware that you could not take a pram... More
