Fun tricky escape room great games master
We a had a great experience, the actual escape room was fun and great quality, the element of playing in the tower really added to the experience too but the best thing was the enthusiasm and knowledge of the games master Matt he was superb! We have only done one other escape room so we are definitely not great at it but we still enjoyed the game and Matt did not make us feel bad for having some clues and going over time. I would definitely recommend it!

    Well thought out escape room
We did the comms room, escape room, here & can highly recommend. Great atmospheric room that was just the perfect amount of challenging. We, as a group of 3, really enjoyed this game & it was a lovely touch to be able to finish our visit off with a relaxing drink with in the bar after.

Amazing Experience. Amazing Place. Best Bar in UK.
Came from America on a trip to the UK. The escape room experience with our Game Master Matt in the Comms Room was excellent. The bar/restaurant is amazing. The drink/wine list and food was equally amazing. Most amazing of all is the building itself and the history involved. The service staff team and Dean in particular were very hospitable and welcoming. 11 stars out of 10... we can't say enough about this place!!!!

    Highly recommend
My husband and I did the Comms escape room. It was brilliant, the special effects were great and Paul did a great job at setting the scene! He gave hints when he could see us truly stuck and even gave us an extra 10 mins to finish it. Highly recommend this room. We then got free access up to the tower and met Bob who told us some very interesting facts about the kind of things that had happened there in the war. It was lovely to see his passion for it which made it even more interesting! Thank you!

"The Comms Room" Escape Room Experience
An Escape Room experience like no other in an authentic WWII site. Went with some history-enthusiast friends and had the time of our lives, made all the better by Paul, our gamemaster who put in 200% of the attitude and effort to make the experience as immersive as possible. Included in the booking is a visit to the top of Westgate Towers with a stunning 360° view of Canterbury. A must-do in this beautiful, historic city.

    Challenging but Great
This was both mine, and the guys I went with, first escape rooms, and it could not have been better. the location, an 18th century gaol, what more could be said, locked into an actual old cell, how to you describe that? The puzzles were hard, but we made it (with a little help with clues from out host), it was just fantastic. But once out, into One Pound modern pub, had a Wonderfull lunch in the sun, by the river regaling our experience. Highly recommended.

An excellent experience - definitely worthwhile! Matt was an excellent game master
We had an excellent time. The game was exciting and this was made more so by Matt, who was a fantastic game master, and brought the whole thing to life. It was my second time doing an escape room and my husband's first and we are keen to try another one after this experience. Thank you Matt ...

Best Escape Room Ever. Magna Carta Murders
Best escape room ever! We have done a few escape rooms and this tops them all. I cannot remember the person who did our escape room but they were amazing with a hilarious personality. The sound effects and the lighting was enough for an adrenaline junky! The bar and the staff are wonderful at the pound too I would go every night if I could lol! Amazing 10/10.

    It was brilliant
This was our first Escape Room experience and it was brilliant. A small confined area but big enough for the 5 of us to explore and solve the clues. Really surprised how well we worked as a team. Our host was excellent. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience. Location was unique and puzzles were tricky and well thought out. The best part was the game master who went above and beyond to give us a one of a kind afternoon. Thank you!

This was our first escape room as a family. 2 adults and 3 teenagers 13-18yrs.
At the start, we were welcomed by the very chatty and knowledgeable Matt who gave us lots of information. It took a little while to settle into the activity due to the historic location, atmosphere and SFX but we got into the swing of it and managed the task in under the 60 min limit. We worked well as a team, (no shouting) and really had to use our brains to make the connections, solve the clues and find the keys that provided the solutions. It was really fun, we all loved it and we'll def be back to solve the next 2 escape rooms at this location.

Game good, suit a smaller group than 5. Host late, felt rushed as arrived 15 mins early as requested. Pre game prep is key.

This was a fun start to a celebratory evening. There was a good mix of tasks and we all managed to contribute to solve the puzzles and save Canterbury! The Games Master added to our enjoyment! Recommended if you want to try an Escape Room and don’t want to be scared!

We did the Crime and Punishment lab and for 2/3 of us it was the first time doing this sort of escape room. From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming. Our games master was really knowledgable and helpful, explaining the whole thing beforehand and then letting us know how she thought we did, afterwards. We managed to complete it with 12 seconds to spare! A really fun experience from start to finish.

This was honestly so fun. It was three of us and for 2/3 of us, it was our first time trying an escape room. We tried the crime and punishment lab and was able to finish it with 3 minutes extra. Our gamemaster Matt was very good and entertaining which we were even able to take a look at the museum and get an amazing view at the end. Honestly recommend this escape room.

Went to the Comms Room escape room in the middle of the day and it was a great experience. Matt, the gamesmaster was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject matter, and escape rooms overall. The room itself was far more engaging than a traditional puzzle/cypher/padlock non-linear routine, and really enjoyed the immersion aspect of it all combined with the technological/mechanical functions being used kept a steady pace.

This was our first escape room and I think we picked the best one. There were just my husband and myself and we did the crime and punishment lab. It does test your brain cells which we loved. The games master Paul was vey good and I would highly recommend doing this. Next one in our list is the Comms Room which we’ve been told is harder. Give it a go you’ll love it!!

We completed the Crime and Punishment room as a four, consisting of two couples. Our Gamesmaster Paul was great and we even got a history tour at the end! Very clever room and really well put together. We had a great time, thanks!
