Beautiful, peaceful flowing river and some nicely-planted flower beds are the highlights of these delightful gardens, just a stone's throw from the busy shopping streets. The gardens lost something of their old world charm when a recent expensive renovation/restoration/redesign/whatever was carried out, but they are...More

This is a beautiful stretch of land, has ducks that swim a long and flowers and benches and it's just so peaceful here, though avoid school times as kids will be running along it.

It's a really picturesque corner of Canterbury, which is well worth a walkthrough if you have time. The river seems very healthy, with plenty of fish of various species, whilst there were plenty of young moorhens and coots when we visited with nests easily visible...More

After a day of walking the busy streets of Canterbury what could be nicer than a spot to relax. These Gardens are well kept and well used by families, tourists and workers alike. There are plenty of seats along the way and some surprising "finds"...More

A peaceful place for a stroll and always very colorful with flower beds being changed regularly throughout the year, a must place to see in the historic Canterbury.

A very nice place to stroll in, but watch out for pickpockets! Don't put down your phone, as someone might just pick it up and take it. Otherwise, a lovely place to walk around.

The river passes gently through the park, clear waters sparkling in the sun. You may see one of the punting trips. We enjoyed the wildflower bed in full bloom, view of west tower and the huge oriental plane tree.
