The St Mary de Castro church was demolished at the end of the 15th century. The garden is small, and basically consists of a tree-lined footpath between Castle Street and Castle Row, with grass and some shrubs either side. It is pleasant to walk through, except perhaps when the benches are occupied by dubious (but probably harmless) characters. Worth a visit is The White Hart pub on the corner of Castle Row, which serves good food and has a large garden itself.
