A frankly disappointing Sunday lunch! Was brought out relatively cold, and without Yorkshire puddings as they had ‘ran out’. I wasn’t even offered an alternative. Pork was fatty and the atmosphere bleak.

We went in today and had one of the best Sunday meals ever and really excellent value. Great service and a good beer selection. Would certainly go again. And very dog friendly.

On the tour of Canterbury pubs was Thomas Becket, hidden off from the bust main road, great inside a bit similar to the coach and horses pub in Soho, board games on the side which is always a bonus on a tour of pubs, cider was good and the menu looked great. Fridays they do a cheap prosecco night. Would recommend this place.…
