Beautiful house of Jane Austen. Walked through the house reliving passages from many of her books. Can see the inspiration. Even got muddy boots walking around the garden

This is a great place to read about and buy memorabilia about Jane Austen. only small but it is jam packed. It is in a lovely setting, and there is a small car park too. The 18th-century gardens are open for about one day a month in summer, as part of the National Gardens Scheme.
