I have been here to watch stand-up three times or so: it's a nice old Theatre which has seen better days, but that is part of its charm. The staff are unfailing sweet, but the bar could do with restocking and a speedier service!

Went to see Al Murray and Alan Davies here (two seperate occasions). Love this old theatre, with its wonderful decor and stained glass around the ceiling. I would love to be able to explore the 'behind the scenes' spaces as I love historical buildings. On...More

Just been to see the Kentish Players cast perform Dirty Rotten Scoundrels what a great evening. If you ever see one of their shows advertised they are well worth a visit. Very professional brilliant value for money . Now seen them 3 times

We saw a Rod Stewart tribute act here which was brilliant and the theatre is charming. Not too big but enough to generate a good atmosphere for a performance. Comfy seats and lots of character well, situated and easy to find in the high street....More

Hi, Patricia. I had to look this up, as I didn't know the history of the Central Theatre, but it turns out the Empire Theatre in Chatham was a different place altogether and is now, sadly, demolished. I attach the notes I... More

They only really do snacks at the theatre rather than full meals -- Google 'Central Theatre Chatham Sandwich Cellar menu' (Trip Advisor won't let me post the direct link). There are other places to eat in Chatham High Street... More
