Dover Castle is an engaging and interesting castle to visit. There are many interactive displays, with sights, sounds, smells, and objects that take you back to when the castle would of been in full use. The Operation Dynamo tunnels are a must see, with a fantastic walk through of the evacuation of Dunkirk. The Keep is the best bit of... More

A wonderful day out. So much to see and do, you'll be exhausted in the end. Children love it. It's all "underground, overground" for them. Spectacular views from the top of the Keep. Hello France! Do go and find out for yourselves.

We loved Dover Castle. Initially I thought we would spend a few hours here and go on to find something else. There is so much to see and do. Our nearly four-year-old was absolutely fascinated by every aspect of castle. We had four viewings of the Angevin story and three trips around the Queen's Regiment museum. The medieval and hospital... More

I thought it was a little pricey considering how many things are free in London. There were a lot of people but it is big enough to not be crowded. I was surprised how many tunnels I went through that turned out to be above ground once I came to a window. A bonus was to find out the grounds... More

We went twice. There are lots to see and do. Day 1, we managed to cover the main building and queued to experience the Hospital Tunnel. It's a pretty interactive experience. They tried to stimulates loads to allow visitors to imagine what it was like back then during the war. Day 2 we went into the Operation Dynamo tunnel- just... More

A great variety of things to see and do at Dover Castle, the WW2 tunnels were a particular favourite! We walked from the train station- well worth the effort!
