A wonderful drinking establishment with a wide variety of ales and stouts, and a warm atmosphere, which suits an old git like me. The landlady is also welcoming and always presents you with some crisps and cashew nuts. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was voted as #1 CAMRA pub in the near future.

Not that bad if you think it's the only club in town, but because of that the average age is 17 yrs old, cocktails are watery/bland and music feels like from the 80s. But, I must admit it wasn't as bad as what I had written on other reviews.

Bar staff are efficient, but there never seems to be enough staff in this dirty bar. Drinks taste watered down and are served in beaten up plastic tumblers. Playlist is usually a clubland CD from the 80’s- Not great considering, you pay £5 for the experience outlined above. In addition, there seems to be no regard for who they allow in, as it’s usually full of obnoxious people doing illegal substances inside. Gents toilet has been known to leak down onto people standing at the bar too. Overall, you will probably feel gross after visiting this place, save your money.
