Great Wall - it hardly measures up to China! This is basically a cover up for years of neglect for the old Pleasurama site, which is STILL awaiting redevelopment. The concrete posts are just visible over the top of the 'wall' which is a remnant...More

Walked on our first day along the beach front. Took in the sights and noted that the wall may go soon. After years it is to be redeveloped. But anyway still fun seeing the pictures.

A year or so ago this wall, which actually surrounds a building site, was covered in lovely paintings etc. these have gone and there are only a few poor efforts in their place.

How long is this going to stay like this....... Another EIGHT YEARS ! You could not make this up the goings on in the sorry state of the Pleasurama development behind the painted hoarding. Even the hoarding is showing signs of ageing.

We were based in Broadstairs for a few days, went to Ramsgate to see the museum in the harbour which we found very interesting, walked back along the Main sands promenade towards the Tunnels. We were very surprised to find the paintings on the wall...More
