I walk the dog here daily. It used to be a place of wild flowers, butterflies and birds including skylarks. Now the place is separated into paddocks by rickety wire fences to accommodate those mobile lawn mowers, a herd of highland cattle. Mind where you put your feet for their stools as well as the countless leavings of the many... More

I use this area for off lead dog walking, a beautiful time for the dogs and humans alike. The pay to park is on camera so don't risk it. a tea wagon would be welcome in the Winter months, but a flask will do if you're out for the day.

Took advantage of the nice weather today and went for a lovely walk through the nature reserve. Saw seals, snipe, curlew and other waders. An easy flat walk. £1.20 to park for the day. Recommended.

Really lovely spot to take a stroll. Children's play area for the little one's, stunning views, clean public toilets, lots of parking. BEWARE - as you drive in, a camera will photograph your number plate and if you do not buy a ticket you will get a fine in the post. When you buy your ticket you have to put... More

I am a local resident in the area of the Nature Reserve and have been for the past 18 months. My wife and I walk the reserve at least once a week. It has a perimeter exclusive walking route but also boasts a cycling path second to none. There is a viewing hut which offers views of the very many... More

A birdwatching paradise, all manner of sea and hedgerow birds as well as flora and fauna & not forgetting the seals, who can be seen "frolicking "on the sandbanks, (although binoculars needed).Obviously breezy and only a loo in the car park, it may also be advisable to take a flask. There is also a nice hide on the way round.

As we use this park a lot I thought that it was due a review. It is a well laid out coastal park with beautiful views and interesting bird life. Dogs can walk off the lead and they are fenced in safely. The paths are well kept and give access to moats areas by wheel chair or baby buggy. It... More
