Fort Paull is the only fully intact Napoleonic Fortress in the North. Covering 10 acres of land this Museum is full of Underground tunnels and rooms, fantastic exhibits and on most weekends throughout the Summer, fantastic displays and events. The Fort is also the home of the worlds only surviving Blackburn Beverley Aircraft. There is also a fully licenced bar and tea rooms on site.

Poor Fort Paull, could have been lovely but in dire need of updating, the displays are years old, manequin's are filthy and moth bitten, no staff around to help visitors. Some parts I found quite dangerous with concrete steps so eroded that bits were falling...More

This Fort goes back to ancient times but was instrumental in protecting the Humber Ports during the Second World Wars, Lots of interesting facts can be learnt from a visit

I'm not entirely sure because when I went there was no dogs there, I probably wouldn't just for the loud noises and things, in case your dog gets scared. :-)
