A gem of a museum which well exceeded our expectations. Plenty of interesting presentations on local people and local history and employment.The Donald Cambell area has a full history, some of his belongings and a reconstruction of Bluebird K9 including some of the damaged parts...More

Packed with interesting information about the village and some of its most famous historical associations. Very warm & friendly welcome by the staff. Kids were enjoying the easter egg hunt but I think the very traditional design of this museum might struggle to engage younger...More

We’re not great museum goers but as this one got good reviews we went and rather wished we hadn’t. Too much stuff all jumbled in to rooms that were too hot to linger in. We just found it all rather indigestible and left quite quickly....More

You can purchase a ticket that lasts a year- good value. We visited 2 years ago and still found exhibits missed first time. Good use of media exhibits.

Called in after a walk,it was a very interesting museum. I especially enjoyed the section on the Bluebird and Donald Campbell's,I found it fascinating and very informative as made me want to read more about him.Spent a good couple of hours in there,well worth visiting...More

Hi there- Johnny here. You ask about taking dogs in the Ruskin Museum. I am pretty sure that they won't allow dogs inside with or without a lead - although I cannot be totally sure not being a dog owner myself, I'm afraid... More
